Hey boys and girly boys, Dave Davenport here. As you may have heard, BENT has re-focused itself to promote gay and lesbian comic-book creators by convention promotion, BENT-CON, but there is still a place for this blog and BENT COMIX.
I would like to someday do a second issue of the sampler, something meatier, maybe a hardback. An anthology rather than a sampler. I would love to become a real publisher, but that would require capital and investment. Something to think about.
But this blog should be used as a place to share ideas, tips, leads... anything helpful that you have come across that may help others in this self-publishing adventure.
So please dive in and share.

ReplyDeleteI will be doing a whole lot more with Northwest Press in the coming year because I'm building a lot of momentum, and one of the things I will be able to do for a lot of people is be a conduit to digital publishing through iBooks with pretty favorable terms. There aren't a lot of graphic novels on the store (at least ones that are presented well) and so we might be able to get in on the ground floor and gay up the place!
